Adrien

From the war torn realities and refugee camps of Africa, Adrien came to America as a teenager. The challenges of the American fast paced realities and overcoming the language, cultural and social differences demanded so much. He knew every decision had to be a good one. With the support of his family, new friends and a passion to succeed, he completed high school, took college courses, enlisted in the US Army... Today, Adrien is a homeowner. He recently earned his Real Estate License. He continues his military service. He is enrolled in college classes. He is married with 2 beautiful children.

Adrien is a member of the LCA Founders Board.

Lilly

Lilly originates from the Democratic Republic of Congo. She came to America from Zimbabwe under the United Nations Refugee Resettlement Program. In spite of the struggles that were part of her journey, she persevered. She currently works a full time job in the healthcare field. She is a full time university student and she owns her own cosmetic business. Her personal story and her passion to help youth and young people to overcome their challenges and ultimately find their purpose and pursue their dreams is a powerful motivator in her life. Many of her friends call her "church girl" because she loves God and loves her church.

Lilly is the Chair of the LCA Founders Board.

Ngoy

Ngoy came to the United States from Tanzania under the UN Refugee Resettlement Program. Even in the midst of a very hard life in the refugee camp, Ngoy excelled in school. He was always the top student in his class. He speaks 5 languages - including exceptional English. His new life in America has been impressive. Today, he is a homeowner. He has his own Life Insurance business as a way of helping African immigrants across the United States. He also has his CDL and is a truck driver.

The greatest event since arriving in the US was getting married to the love of his life and together birthing their son.

Michael

Michael is a young man who grew up in Indiana farm country. He is the product of home schooling and a Pentecostal church upbringing. His work ethic and determination to succeed in life brought him to Indianapolis. He slept in his car in a hospital parking lot until he could move into his dorm room at Butler University.

His journey unfolded into being treasurer for an African Church, serving African communities through a local non-profit, starting his own website development and hosting company, and currently he works two full time jobs and is growing his new business in AI Cyber Security. Michael is an outstanding leader with a genuine heart to help others grow and learn, succeed from any advice and mentorship he can provide.
